Challenging moments

A lot of things happened a few days ago. Akif was hospitalized due to vomitting + influenza A reactive. Yes, Influenza A - a scarry medical term that i really don't want to get involved. Last thursday, Akif started fever and cold, temperature 38.5. The next day, we still sent him and the siblings to nursery because after we gave him Progestic paracetamol, he was ok. Around lunch time, I called nursery and they said Akif still got fever. Hubby got really worried and got back early and took Akif to clinic. The temperature was 39+ when the doctor checked him. Got referral letter to DSH and straight to Emergency. Yelah, paediatrician takde dah sebab dah pukul 4.30 p.m. at that time. They did the rapid test and after an hour, confirmed Influenza A reactive. We were at home when we received a call from the hospital. I was about to eat my spagetti at that time. Terus hilang selera. Tuhan saje yg tau betapa risaunya naluri seorang ibu ini. Hubby got to rush to the hospital to take the medicine, YES its tamiflu! He brought Akif along and of course with the mask. This scarry news been informed and extended to the family members and they really concerned and worried too. Akif started vomitting after that and the tamiflu. Kak Syiken, Mak, Adik kept calling and asked us to refer to GH. They asked us to take Akif to the hospital and get him warded. We called SDMC and ING a few times, and later hubby took Akif to SDMC. He was on drip and in the hospital for 3 nights. On Saturday, I went to see him and hubby. Took Alesya and Akil Fatihin. Tunggu bapak men, mak men and adik ipars as they want to go to hospital to pay a visit. Aku dah siap dari pukul 2 lebih, tunggu sampai pukul 5 tak sampai2. Last2, pergi sendiri jugak. Fikir punyelah fikir, risau punyelah risau sampai i took a wrong jalan. Nak pusing punyelah jauh and sampai tersesat kat Sg Buloh. Sampai hospital dlm 6 lebih. All of us on masked, Akif looked pale and his eyes were red. Around 7 sth, I have to get back home with Alesya and Akil. I carried Akil in the car seat and Alesya walked behind me. I put Akil at the back of the seat and Alesya didn't want to get in car. She was trying to go back to the hospital. Apa lagi, terpaksalah kejar dia and dukung dia. Mcm biase, dia meronta nak papa and i put her at her seat. Menangis2, nak papa, nak papa. Bile bayar parking, auntie tu pun tanya kenapa nangis, 'Nape, papa dia masuk hospital ke?' Bukan, anak saya!. It was dark and terlanggar dividerlah pulak. Aku pun kuar tgk, nasib baik takde apa2. Jalan was horribly jammed, nasib baik aku ikut jalan perumahan, so I save the minyak.. Half way, Akil Fatihin menangis, took me about 10 minutes to reach Petrol kiosk and stop to breastfed him. Yelah, lapar dah, menangislah dia tu.. After a while, dia menangis lagi, kali ni mmg tak boleh handle lagi. I straight away stopped and picked him up and I put on my lap. YES, he was on my lap. Polis, jgn salahkan saya, I'm in a panic situation. His hands were holding the driving wheel. Ceh, beranganlah tu bawak kereta. Ya, tak payah bagitau saya, saya tau ia sangat BAHAYA. Aku tak sampai hatilah biar anak aku menangis. Lagipun, dah nak sampai rumah dah pun... Sungguh challenging hari tu. Dugaan daripada mu, Ya Allah. Tabahkanku dari menghadapi segala dugaanmu. Akif was discharged on Monday and sampai hari ni aku cuti, jaga anak.
