Cash is King
Well, we had an engagement meeting in the office with some makan2. It was very informal one, boss talked while we enjoyed the packed lunch. I found that I cannot concentrate what he said while I ate the lunch. Hmmmm.... probably because of my sleepiness also. He mentioned about the economic situation that we will be facing. The company did worst last year. We need to prove to shareholders that we are valueable to keep it going. What I attracted and worried was when he mentioned about Cash. Being an experienced person, he asked us to keep as much cash as possible. He gave an example when the country faced reccession in 1997. You can get Mercedes worth RM250K for RM80K but you must pay about 70% of cash to buy that. You can also get a bungalow in Ulu Klang worth RM120K only. One suggested that we buy groceries in bulk, of course you have to share with as many possible buyers. He advised us to keep Cash as much as we can. Being a contract staff myself, I am definately worried with the current situation. Gaji sekarang ni pun tak cukup. Ni nak tambah another baby will cost us and will put a hole in our pockets. Insyaallah, rezeki anak2 Allah yg tentukan. Insyaallah, Allah akan murahkan rezeki kami sekeluarga. Always remember, buy something that you need not sth unnecessary. Think twice!!!
